Through a series of invitation-only events, Summit fosters a global community of thought leaders, founders, investors, creatives and influencers. Summit Tulum is a three-day international excursion that submerges guests in surreal, experiential, and carefully curated programming pillars of wellness, arts & performances, dining, beachside discussions, and site-specific activations.

I was brought back to Tulum for a second year in a row to develop the event identity and lead all graphic and production design through each project phase: from marketing and pre-sale, to on-site signage and guest + staff collateral and communications. Without reliable access to wifi while on location, I was tasked with developing a walking wayfinding system that guests could use to navigate the multi-site campus. As a result, I designed and illustrated treasure map bandanas that provided guests with a visual, landmark-based pathway from one location to the next without need for digital connectivity. Wooden a-frame signage was produced for each site location, with names routed out and backed by white acrylic, allowing for a simple, self-contained LED lighting solution that produced a soft glow through the letterforms at night.
