Vote Our Future is a youth voter engagement initiative that called on the younger population of Detroit to weigh in on the 2017 Election. The inaugural program worked with 250+ Future Voters from three Detroit high schools — Western, Cody, & Osborn — providing access to and education about the local political process in efforts to foster critical thinking and engagement in civic discourse.
The program was founded by Rachel Klegon, Sarah Couyoumjian and Jessica Janda, funded by The Knight Foundation Detroit and facilitated in partnership with Rising Sons of Philadelphia.
